Who runs the Centre?

The centre is run by a Board of Directors, made up of parents who are elected, and is managed by the Director of the centre, Lisa Hrechkosy. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in the operation of the centre by volunteering to sit on the Board, taking part on various committees, and helping with fund-raising from time to time.
Parent Communication
Our centre hosts an open-door policy for parents to come and talk with us and express their opinions or concerns. A monthly newsletter and our bulletin board reflect the centre's schedule and happenings in the centre
Location, Hours of Operation and Cost
Our office is located in Room 113 of Stanley Knowles School, 2424 King Edward Street (corner of Inkster Blvd. and King Edward Street).

Our hours are: 7:00-9:00 a.m., 12:00-1:00 p.m., and 3:30-6:00 p.m.

We are open year round, Monday to Friday. We are also open on school holidays and in-service days; we are closed on statutory holidays.

Fees:
$5.85 per day, for one period;
$9.60 per day, for three periods;
- a period being either before school, lunch, or after school
$18.80 per day - In-service and School Holidays
(eg. Spring Break, Summer, Christmas Break).

Government subsidies are available - please call the Director at 694-0855 to find out if you qualify. Subsidy application forms are available from Manitoba Child Day Care at 945-2197.
